Well if you want the best high resolution display yet save your money for the new MacBook Pro which will come with a 2,880×1800 high resolution display.  To get a example of what this means the 17inch MacBook Pro currently only has a 1,920×1,200 display. Apples top of the line 27 inch thunderbolt display only has a 2,500×1,400 screen.
