Samsung Unpacked Event Postponed Due To Steve Jobs Death

Samsung-Mobile-CTIA-event-640x411

We heard the Samsung Unpacked Event was postponed later in the day yesterday but now we know it was because of Steve Jobs death. While Samsung USA posted this “Samsung and Google have decided to postpone the Samsung Mobile Unpacked event during the CTIA in San Diego, previously scheduled for Oct. 11. Under the current circumstances, both parties have agreed that this is not the appropriate time for the announcement of a new product. We would ask for the understanding of our clients and media for any inconvenience caused. We will announce a new date and venue in due course.” Confirmed today the words “appropriate time” is due to Steve. Postponing the event now is just another mistake by Samsung and Google. We all loved Steve Jobs but this is competition so bring out the goods on time. Lately these no shows are starting to make tech beasts mad. The Galaxy Nexus launch event is postponed for October 27 in London so sometime then could be the Unpacked event in my mind. http://www.besttechnology.org/2011/09/23/samsung-unpacked-event-october-11th/
